In Panguitch Lake we spent the night at Camping Bear Paw Lakeview Fishing Resort just at the bord of the lake. The office and the restaurant were completely in wood. We tought to be able to eat some good lake fish, but forget it.
At night is was so cold, close to freezing point. The owner of the campground told us that is was 36°F.
We first planned to stay here some more days, to relax for a while and to enjoy the lake, but due to the cold we decided to leave and continue our trip.

We spent the night in Zion National Park at Watchman Campground.
Zion is the oldest nationaal park in Utah (1919) and receives about 3,000,000 visitors every year.

|
On September 11 there were a lot of flag.
Due to this amount of visitors it isn't allowed to visit Zion with our own car, but there is a free shuttle bus.

Leaving Zion Park we passed Ruby's Inn. A few stories with loads of different rocks.
After seeing so many rocks, canyons and mountains we dedided to smal a small trip to Las Vegas.
Maybe we can get some money back for our trip???
But first of all we had to get Lieve out of jail.
It was already dark when we arrived in Las Vegas. With the RV we drove the famous strip to enjoy all these lighted buildings in Las Vegas.

Welcome to Las Vegas, Nevada
Friday, the 13th. It can't be a good day for gambling, but it was an excellent day to see Las Vegas under a blue sky.

In Crazy Horse Campground (Kanab, UT) we found a place to stay overnight.

We could only visit the entrance hall of the Glen Canyon Dam, which wasn't far away from Page. We also were unable to see the machine room and power plant due to elevator maintenance. But we believe it was the fear for attacks, because there was such a strong security.
In the entrance hall there was a maquette of Lake Powel.

Today we planned a boat trip at Lake Powel. This is, as a matter of fact, the only way to visit Rainbow Bridge. The boat trip took about all day.
